Ready to make your initial appointment? Give us a call and we will work with you to match with a counsellor who is best suited for your needs. We offer a free 15-minute service consultation on the phone for you to ask questions, explore the fit and discuss the fees. The consultation meeting does not involve any counselling. We understand that everyone comes to counselling at different stages of readiness for change, so we try our best to meet you where you are and follow your pace.

Stephanie Seo, MA, RCC, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Stephanie has studied extensively in the field of Family Counselling and Multicultural Counselling, and believes that every human has the potential to grow in positive ways if they are provided with genuine acceptance and sincere caring. Her personal experience of moving to Canada as part of the immigrant community has helped her develop and maintain the trusting relationship with her multicultural clients, and has informed her view that inclusive work with them involves respectful and responsive to their unique cultural life experience.

Amelia Wu, MEd, CCC, is a Canadian Certified Counsellor registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. In counselling, Amelia practices an integrative approach and utilizes various techniques including Dialectical- Behavioural, Cognitive-Behavioural, Person-Centered, Solution-focused, Emotion-focused, Art, and Mindfulness skills. With her background rooted in the traditional Chinese culture, Amelia is knowledgeable of the challenges that people face in a foreign environment, and potential generational and cultural gaps that exist in immigrant families. Hence, she can better help with issues resulted from cultural differences, enhance family relationship and increase immigrants’ level of psychological satisfaction. Amelia believes that everyone, and every family, has the strength within for healing and growth, and her role is to assist them to activate these inner resilience and build their skills to overcome obstacles on their way to a better life, foster personal growth and achieve life goals.
Individual Sessions: $140 + 5% GST (50 minutes)
Couples/Family Sessions: $150 + 5% GST (50 minutes)

At Seo & Wu Counselling Services, our fees are set in accordance with the recommended fee guidelines set forth by the BCACC.
We offer in-person, virtual, and phone meetings. Please let us know your preference for meetings.
We accept payments in cash, e-transfer and cheque at the beginning of each appointment. Receipts are provided upon payment and may be submitted to your extended benefits plan for reimbursement.
Because your appointment is reserved exclusively for you, Seo & Wu Counselling Services kindly asks that you provide 24 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment (except in case of emergency).
If you cancel with less than 24 hours before your appointment time or miss your appointment, you will be billed 100% of the cost of your appointment. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.
